diy felt letterboard

Processed with VSCO with m5 preset

I finally got around to making my own felt letterboard. I was super excited to knock this one out and make myself laugh at my own witty quotes on the regular.

The absolute best part of this diy was collecting the materials. Instagram introduced me to Make It Hapin a couple months ago. Make It Hapin is actually the most brilliant. For the very reasonable price of $5, a personal shopper will take a look at your inspiration (diy project, outfit, home decor) and find all the components/materials within 24 hours. If the items are what you need, your personal shopper will place the order and have the items shipped directly to you. For this project, I literally sent a pin I liked, exchanged a few direct messages, and received all my materials within a week. It would have cost me about $50 in car2go fees and probably two hours of running around to gather these supplies myself, so I am most definitely a HUGE fan of this service. Check out Make It Hapin on Instagram here.

The absolute worst part of this diy was that I am highly unskilled and way too impatient with a glue gun. I burnt my fingers so many damn times, and I’m not thrilled with the end result. So I’m going to try again!
